LANABLA Strengthens Internal Systems and Planning for ToPP Project Implementation

LANABLA convened a Board Meeting focused on strengthening its internal management systems, organisational resilience and readiness for the effective implementation of the Together for People and Planet (ToPP) Project.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the Board to reflect on organisational systems and strategic priorities while preparing for the next phase of implementation.

Key areas of focus

The meeting focused on two key agenda items:

1. Review of the Stakeholder Engagement Policy

The Board reviewed the Stakeholder Engagement Policy as part of efforts to strengthen LANABLA’s approach to stakeholder engagement. The review seeks to support meaningful, inclusive and effective engagement with partners, communities and other relevant stakeholders.

Strengthening organisational capacity and resilience

Effective project implementation requires strong internal systems, clear policies, strategic planning and coordinated decision-making. The discussions therefore form part of LANABLA’s broader efforts to strengthen its capacity, organisational maturity, effectiveness and resilience.

This is particularly important in supporting LANABLA’s contribution to rights-based and inclusive conservation, while ensuring that organisational systems are equipped to respond effectively to the needs of stakeholders and the communities it serves.

Through the ToPP Project, LANABLA continues to strengthen its organisational and programmatic capacity while advancing approaches that contribute to meaningful and sustainable outcomes for people and the planet.
